These clients have a holiday cottage at Camber Sands on the lovely East Sussex coast.

They wanted a garden with a beach theme and planting that could withstand the strong coastal winds.

The back garden features a large Millboard deck with a detailed circular section, with the LED deck lights following the circle. The deck acts as the main dining and entertaining area. It extends along the house and connects to the man cave.

The deck fits snugly within the stunning wavy wall, designed by Lisa, which acts as a retaining wall for the olive tree and mixed planting above.

The planting contains yuccas, grasses and cordylines, with assorted perennials providing seasonal colour.

The front garden features two raised timber planters, each with a mature olive tree. The soil has been mulched with pebbles over a geotextile membrane to prevent weeds from growing through.
